What AI We Use

Our analysis and recommendation features are powered by Claude, an AI model developed by Anthropic. Claude analyses the photograph you provide, reads the contextual information you share, and produces a personalised report covering hair, skin, structure, grooming, and aesthetic opportunity.

Our Style Advisor feature — which can visualise potential appearance changes — also uses image generation models to produce before-and-after style previews.

What the AI Does

• Analyses a photograph to identify visual signals relating to hair condition, skin condition, facial structure, and grooming
• Generates a written personalised plan based on what it observes
• Matches those observations to products from the iammax catalogue
• Provides styling previews showing potential appearance changes
• Supports our admin team in auto-populating product information during catalogue management

What the AI Cannot Do

The AI analysis is a visual recommendation tool. It is not a medical device, clinical assessment, or diagnostic system. Specifically, the AI:

• Cannot diagnose any skin condition, hair disorder, or medical condition
• Cannot recommend prescription treatments or medications
• Cannot replace the advice of a qualified dermatologist, trichologist, or aesthetic practitioner
• May not detect conditions that require clinical examination
• Produces results that reflect probabilistic analysis and may not be accurate in all cases

If you have concerns about your skin or hair health, please consult a qualified medical professional. Our analysis is a starting point for improvement, not a clinical verdict.

Your Photograph — How It Is Handled

• Your photograph is transmitted securely to Anthropic’s API for the purpose of generating your analysis
• We do not store your photographs on our servers after your analysis session ends
• Anthropic processes your image in accordance with their privacy policy and API usage terms
• We do not use your photographs for training AI models
• Your photograph is never shared with third parties beyond Anthropic for the analysis process

By uploading a photograph, you consent to this transmission and processing. You can withdraw consent at any time by ceasing to use the analysis feature.

AI-Generated Style Previews

The Style Advisor feature produces computer-generated preview images showing how different styles, colours, or treatments might look on you. These previews are illustrative only. They are not guarantees of results and may not accurately represent how a treatment would look in reality. They are intended to aid decision-making, not replace a consultation with a qualified professional.

Human Oversight

All product curation on the iammax platform is reviewed by our team. AI-generated product descriptions and analysis text are verified before being published. We do not allow AI systems to make autonomous decisions that affect your health, finances, or legal rights without human review.
